Editorial policy
Purpose and scope
We publish educational material about second homes, seasonal properties, property-use changes and short-term rentals. Our goal is to help readers ask more useful questions. An article is not a quote, a binder, a policy interpretation for a particular claim or individualized legal advice.
Sources and examples
We prioritize insurance regulators, policy/program documents and established insurance-education resources. Sources are linked near the end of each article. A link is not an endorsement, appointment or affiliation. State-specific guidance is identified as such; it should not be treated as a rule for every state.
Examples are illustrative unless explicitly identified otherwise. We do not invent customer stories, reviews, savings statistics, carrier relationships or professional credentials.
Authorship and assistance
Articles use the MWC byline and link to the publisher-supplied author identification. The initial website and editorial drafts were prepared with AI assistance. The operator is responsible for checking accuracy, licensing statements and suitability before launch and when publishing updates. No independent expert review is claimed unless the reviewer is specifically named.
Dates and revisions
Publication dates reflect when an article is first marked published. Meaningful editorial changes update the modification date; ordinary page views do not. Corrections can be reported through the contact form. Include the article address and the statement you believe needs review.
Commercial purpose
This site invites insurance inquiries for Your Insure Cure, LLC. Educational content supports that purpose. Insurance availability and any compensation arrangements must be explained in the applicable transaction. No sponsored ranking or paid placement is represented in the initial content.
Photography
Property photographs are illustrative. They are not presented as clients’ homes, properties insured by us or proof of service in a particular location. See image credits for sources.
